The end of October saw the Fifth Annual Dinner and Dance for the Just Rifles charity. Established in 2010 by Bryan Fugler, in memory of family friend Lance Corporal Thomas Keogh who was killed In action in Sangin, Afghanistan, Just Rifles has become a recognised military charity with a personal touch. Supporting injured servicemen and women and bereaved families, Just Rifles is able to give assistance for things that are needed and may not be covered by other funding. From household items and bespoke sporting equipment to much needed time away, Just Rifles work closely with the Rifles Regiment to ensure the best help is given to those in need of it, in the best possible way.

At Oracle we are proud to be working with Just Rifles since its inception. Every year we donate our time and resources for the production of the event programme. This year we created a cover especially for the fifth anniversary dinner and dance programme. We wanted it to be special to celebrate this landmark 5th birthday and to remember the reason why it was started, therefore we felt that it was appropriate that it should feature Lance Corporal Thomas Keogh. One of our designers created a hand painted illustration that we hoped would capture Tom and honour his memory. We were very pleased that his family were happy with the artwork and we were proud to be able to present them with the framed illustration at the event.
